Both the hard copy and online directories are published by Information Services Vancouver (ISV), an accredited, non-profit agency that has been serving the information and referral needs of British Columbians since 1953. The Red Book Online is a partnership between Vancouver Public Library and ISV, with initial funding provided by a Communities Connect Program grant from the Province of British Columbia. The directory is prepared and maintained by ISV and hosted on the Vancouver Public Library web site.
